Most plans include the Eternal Vault: a secure drive provisioned for each client on your account, accessible to them through their Eternal Pro portal and to your firm through the client's file.
The Vault serves two directions of document flow. Your clients use it to store the files their fiduciaries will need—deeds, policies, titles, account statements, digital asset handling instructions. Your firm can use it to deliver documents to the client: executed originals, conformed copies, certifications of trust, funding letters, and anything else the client should retain and their successor trustee should be able to find. Any file type is supported.
Storage Limits
Each client vault includes up to 1GB of storage.
Security
The Eternal Vault uses layered encryption at rest:
- Files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- The encrypted files are stored on an encrypted filesystem
- The encrypted filesystem lives on an encrypted volume
Vaults are isolated per client. Access is governed by your firm's user permissions, and the client controls which of their named fiduciaries receive access and when.
Accessing a Client's Vault
- Log in to your Eternal Pro dashboard
- Open the client Dashboard
- Select Vault
- Use the toolbar icons to upload, download, view, or remove files
Sharing Documents With a Client
Uploading a file to a client's vault makes it available to them immediately in their portal.
What Your Clients See
From their portal, clients access the Vault from the left navigation bar and can upload, download, view, and remove their own files, and add instructions for how each should be handled.
